American Jackal, by Tim Fitts

American Jackal is a collection of prose-poems by writer, Tim Fitts, which features music composed by Thomas Weaver as companions to the stories. These compositions seek to explore the relationship between literature and music, which Fitts and Weaver both explore in their course Interpretive Expressions in Literature and Music at the Curtis Institute. American Jackal features eight compositions that pair with selected stories from the collection. The book and studio recordings will be available in March.
